1. How accurate is my Alcolizer product.
The HH1,HH2 Hand Held units, Wall Mount Alcolizer, Vehicle Control Units and now the LE are all Australian Standards (AS3547 Type II) Approved
2. How do I ensure that calibration of my Alcolizer product is maintained and accurate at all times.
To satisfy Australian Certification all Alcolizer products are either self-calibrated or have an automatic pre-scheduled maintenance programme installed into each unit (AS 3547 Type 11) so that at a certain time or number of tests, the equipment goes into a recall mode for 14 days and will finally shut down operation pending re-calibration.
On return to the factory and a simple three day turn around (depending on location) the following procedures will occur:
All work carried out is covered by a basic Calibration charge. No extra is charged for upgrading of Software or parts.
NB: Physical contact with current models of digital phones could result in corruption of software in your Alcolizer unit and could result in an earlier than scheduled service interval.
3. When does the calibration cycle begin:
Upon receipt of your new HH-1/HH-2 the units are in sleep mode. Upon activation of your initial test the counter commences on both time (6 months) and number of tests (300.) Your unit will go into recal mode 14 days prior to shutting down.

Mouth Alcohol:
It takes approximately 15 minutes for alcohol to enter the bloodstream. A test sooner than that from your last drink could give a high or inaccurate reading.

NB: Remember the Law states you are considered accurate at the moment you are tested. Rising and falling alcohol levels may mean you have to recheck within 15 minutes of a previous test to establish a falling pattern (providing no futher alcohol is consumed.)
